Welcome to the Collegecounseling-sa listserv!
This listserv is designed for mental health professionals who provide substance abuse-related services to students in college/university counseling centers. The listserv is managed by the EKU Counseling Center.
The purpose of this listserv is to create a forum for mental health providers to exchange current information about substance abuse-related issues, relevant funding and professional development opportunities, emerging trends in treatment, effective prevention strategies, and current research relevant to the college student population.
Participants are expected to show respect when communicating with or about others on the listserv, particularly regarding issues of gender, age, race, ethnicity, religion, sexual identity, or disability.
Here are some basic guidelines:
- Use of the listserv for advertising, illegal activity, political advocacy/opposition, or for the purpose of disrupting other listserv members WILL NOT BE TOLERATED. Comments of these types will be deleted and the person posting such comments may be banned from further participation.
- Please ensure that your communication is brief, respectful, and addressed to the correct recipient.
- Do not post copyrighted material to the listserv.
- The list administrator has the authority to terminate listserv membership at any time for inappropriate use of the listserv.
